Retail or customer service experience or restaurant serving experience an asset. Successful candidate will be able to work well in close quarters with other kitchen staff in addition to working efficiently in independent and unsupervised situations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Dishwashing, Consistently monitoring, cleaning and organizing counter areas, Bussing and cleaning café tables and area, Food preparation, Baked goods preparation, Learning to prepare house specials and baked goods according to company recipes, Smoothie preparation, Serving food to eat-in and take-out customers, Learning to execute and serve house specialty beverages including alcoholic beverages, Learning to use company POS, Consistently uphold company policies which include quality and safety standards. *Sale’s Manager: starting 32hrs week* Retail and previous health food and product experience necessary. Successful candidate may have previous retail management experience, Diploma in Natural Nutrition, or equivalent experience, food serving and handling training, strong understanding of our company’s Gluten-Free mission, and proven ability to provide exceptional customer service. Successful candidate will be comfortable and effective while working alongside current staff to create and contribute to our growing needs. Successful candidate will also be able to work well in close quarters with other staff in addition to working efficiently in independent and unsupervised situations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Opening, Closing, Cleaning, Merchandizing, Product advising, Nutritional advising, Order compilation, Order receiving, Learning to efficiently operate company POS, Learning Café food and drink menu to be able to answer customer questions and take and relay customer food and drink orders, Learning to prepare and serve our specialty coffee and tea menu, Ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining exceptional customer service, Consistently uphold company policies which include quality and safety standards.
