The Cackling Goose Bakery is for Sale
We started the Cackling Goose Market in 2007 and its' growth and success has been a huge part of our lives for 16 years. We have met some amazing people and developed some wonderful friendships as we evolved with "the Goose" over the years.
Many people have been eagerly awaiting news about the re-opening of the Cackling Goose GF Bakery. The sale of our commercial property in Sackville was finalized at the beginning of April. We had hoped to be able to unveil the new owners and new location for the GF Bakery by now. We proceeded with the sale of the property in Sackville because we also had a separate buyer for the Cackling Goose GF Bakery business who had intended to move the business and add it to their own current operation. Unfortunately, we now regret to announce that this purchase agreement will not proceed. We now must look for another buyer for the Bakery and we want your help to find the right fit so that the Cackling Goose can continue.
We are extremely disappointed, but these unfortunate circumstances might potentially be a great business opportunity for someone new.
The Cackling Goose ceased bakery operation in Sackville at the end of March as we were preparing for the property sale and there are many customers from all over the Maritimes who are excitedly awaiting news of a new location. We want the Cackling Goose to persist and continue to grow and succeed and we hope we can find new owners to make the transition. The sale would include exclusive use of all our proprietary recipes, the Cackling Goose name and branding, and customer and supplier contacts.
